AIR-PIPE, LLC provides a web-based email service for MooseBytes Broadband Internet, which means you can check your email anywhere you find an Internet connection. Simply click on "Web-based Email" in the yellow box above to access your email from any Internet location. You can also click on "Customer Email" in the Navigation bar to the left.

Import MooseBytes email to you desktop/laptop

Once you have activated a MooseBytes email account with a customer service representative, you may follow the below steps to setup your account in Windows Mail, Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook. You must know what your user name and password are before continuing with the following steps.

Setup Email in Outlook Express or Windows Mail

  1. Open Outlook Express
  2. Under Tools select Accounts
  3. Under the Mail tab click Add, then choose Mail
  4. Enter the display name of your choice
  5. Enter your new MooseBytes email address established with a MooseBytes customer service representative
  6. Choose POP3 as your incoming mail server
  7. Enter mail.air-pipe.com as the incoming mail server on the next line
  8. Enter mail.air-pipe.com as the outgoing mail server on the following line
  9. Enter your new MooseBytes email address and password
  10. Advance through to finish and your new MooseBytes email account will now transfer all email to this location

Setup Email in Microsoft Outlook

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook
  2. Under Tools select Email Accounts
  3. Select Add a New Email Account
  4. Select POP3 as the type of server
  5. Under User Information, enter the first part of your new email address as your name Example: johndoe@moosebytes.net, enter johndoe as your name
  6. Enter your new MooseBytes email address under User Information
  7. Enter mail.moosebytes.net as the Incoming and Outgoing Mail Server
  8. Enter the first part of your new email address as your username Example: johndoe@moosebytes.net, enter johndoe as your username
  9. Enter your new password and advance forward through steps. Your new email account should be activated and your new MooseBytes email account will now transfer all emails to this location

You may want to go back through to make sure the new MooseBytes email account is set as your default email account and delete any unused email accounts out of the system.

You are not required to follow the above steps to actively use your MooseBytes email account. If you do not wish to use your desktop/laptop email system, login through MooseByte's Web-based Email Access.

Instructions regarding importing your email to your desktop email system for different brands of email software are also available on the web by Yahoo, Google and other web-based email providers.
